Actually, you might find my technique a bit weird, but it works!! ;-) 

Prepare your knitting for the felting process.

Tip: Put it in the washing machine with a towel, that makes the knitting felt better. You might want to start with the lowest temperature (40 degrees celcius) and check the result. You can wash it again if you want "more"/tighter felting.
